Retractable Sun Awning

The superyacht quality retractable Sun awning from V-Technology has many smart
technological solutions. The drive systems has only one motor with smooth controlled speed
which keeps the system silent and compact. V-Technology uses polished stainless steel tubes
for the awning system as these give a more slim appearance while being very stiff and
strong. Another important advantage is the fact that the round surface of the tubes are
more aerodynamic which is important in a windy environment.
The fabric of the awning is kept under tension automatically whatever the position of the

As an option the system can be connected to the anemometer of the wheelhouse to make
sure the awning system goes in automatically with high wind speeds.
